Apply For Membership To Our Organisation
Applicants must complete all required fields and submit the relevant confirmations of their qualifications and proof of ID with their application. Completed applications are submitted to the Membership Committee for consideration and approval.
Once your membership is approved you will be sent an email with details on how to access to the HSPNZ Members Area of the website and the CPD Portal. There you can access your Certificate of Membership and download the HSPNZ Member logo.

Professional Membership
All Professional members of HSPNZ have to be appropriately qualified and experienced with Hazardous Substances, undertake ongoing professional development and adhere to a strict code of ethical behaviour. Professional Membership of the HSP NZ is open to any appropriately qualified person with a role involving Hazardous Substances. Full Professional Members can be listed on the HASANZ Register.
Professional Membership Fee:
$350 + GST per annum
Associate Membership
Associate members have a demonstrated interest in Hazardous Substances and may offer related services. Associate Membership of the HSP NZ is ideal for people who demonstrate an interest in the aims of the HSPNZ and in the storage, handling and use of dangerous goods but have not completed formal Worksafe approval to become HSPNZ Professional Members.
Associate Membership Fee:
$200 + GST per annum
Affiliate Membership
Affiliate members are organisations aligned with Hazardous Substances industry such that they can form a mutually beneficial business partnership with our members. A company, organisation or other institute may show their support of HSPNZ by becoming a Affiliate Member. Employees of Corporate Supporter organisations who wish to benefit from membership of HSPNZ must join separately as either an Associate or Full Professional member.
Affiliate Membership Fee:
$750 + GST per annum
Renewal of Membership Forms
Professional Membership Renewal
Renewal of membership as a Professional member of HSPNZ ensures you continue to be appropriately qualified and experienced with Hazardous Substances, undertake ongoing professional development and adhere to a strict code of ethical behaviour. You will need to show your updated CPD training, Insurance and maintenance of your WorkSafe Certifier Authorisation/Other Appropriate Qualifications.

$350 + GST per annum
Associate Membership Renewal
Renewal of membership as a Associate member of HSPNZ ensures you continue to be appropriately qualified and experienced with Hazardous Substances, undertake ongoing professional development and adhere to a strict code of ethical behaviour. You will need to show your updated CPD Training.
Associate Membership Fee:
$200 + GST per annum
