Arkulus
Arkulus was founded to address a long-standing challenge faced by businesses managing hazardous substances and critical assets: the lack of flexible, high-performance fire protection solutions. Traditionally, extreme fire protection has relied on permanent concrete bunkers that are expensive, heavy, inflexible and difficult to adapt as operational needs change. Arkulus set out to deliver a smarter alternative.
Our structural panels, which have a patent pending, are independently tested to withstand fire for more than four hours, at temperatures exceeding 1200°C. They are lighter, fully relocatable and engineered to deliver uncompromising protection, offering a level of flexibility that concrete cannot match. This technology is used across our range of 240/240/240 FRR buildings, vaults, and custom solutions, and commonly used in Type D storage and Type 3 workroom Dangerous Goods applications.
Our team brings together expertise in engineering, material science, construction and manufacturing. We work closely with certifiers, designers and operators to ensure solutions meet regulatory requirements and operational needs. We are proudly New Zealand owned and operated and our mission is simple: to protect people, property and productivity.

UTREX
Utrex is 100% privately owned and operated in New Zealand and has more than 50 years history in the New Zealand Industrial chemical cleaning market. Beginning with Chemical Cleaning Limited, subsequently acquired by ICI and then Orica, Utrex was formed in 2007 to continue operations to support existing clients both in New Zealand and abroad. The management team has assisted in some of the worlds largest chemical cleaning projects.
Over the last 15 years Utrex has expanded its team and service offering to include decontamination of tanks for vessel entry, chemical supply, site preparation for HSNO compliance/producer statements, well acidizing, equipment rental, turn key shutdown services and design and construction of bulk chemical storage facilities. Today just some of the industries serviced include dairy, pulp & paper, power & geothermal and oil & gas.
